A showcase of 6 of Wellington’s finest stand up comedians. A great way to launch into a new year of comedy and to inspire new and potential new comedians to get involved in this year Raw Meat Monday at The Fringe Bar.We are very lucky to be able to fit such a vast array of talent into one night!

Patch Lambert: A cheeky wee halfling from the wrong side of Naenae. He’s an up and coming comedic legend, keep an eye on young Patch.

Gerard Paapu; he’s a clever, witty, punchy comic representing Newtown! Gerard has an affinity for patting tigers, ghetto sangria and a keen eye for the various shades of brown. He is (and if not he should be) one of Wellingtons favourite comedians.

Bas Jefferies; A charming and handsome young man who will make you laugh with his humorous anecdotes and tales of modern day hardship. One of Wellingtons greatest and a stand out at last years Young Gunz.

Neil D’Bear Thornton; Incredibly talented, Neil is profound, interesting and one of the most creative comics in the circuit. He hails from New York City and loves his new home in New Zealand almost as much as we love him back.

James Nokise; Is haaaalirious, He’s travelled the world as a comedian, a 2013 Fred Dagg Comedy Award Nominee and 2 time Billy T Comedy Award Nominee, Welsh / Samoan comedian, James Nokise, has carved out a reputation in New Zealand going after everything from gangs, to politicians, to stereotypes within Pacific Culture.

Molly Sokhom; Is a ball of endless energy, she never stops being funny. Molly will be our M.C. for the night, she will be filling the room with laughs on top of laughs. After the show who knows she might even have everyone dancing! Molly has been a real gem in the Wellington comedy scene and we can’t wait to see her perform.
